Maybe. Tonight.

There is so much silence tonight. So much greyness in the sky. The wind carries my dreams away, while tears drizzle down upon the roses. I’m not sure if the sun will rise tomorrow. If you will still remember the colour of my eyes. The hard edges of the sky are sorrow-softened, a fragile, gossamer mirror-veil of an unquite ocean. Where are you now?
& I need you here.
I need the stars, the bursting sun flowing in my veins thawing that early-morning emptiness. I need you.
In your eyes dreams become tangible. I can see in them hundreds of unfamiliar constellations, flickering like fireflies, showing me home. You are infinities held in astral folds of silver.
There’s a light forever suspended in your eyes. There’s a summer awaiting.
I have shaking hands and numb lips – I’m just a girl throwing dreams against sharp-glass walls and concrete ceilings. Waiting, hoping, waiting…
I’m a waterfall of dream-dust and ocean-tears carrying away dandelion-wishes.
Breathe in, they say, count to ten and sing.
You are brown and I’m sea-blue, colours and words, but if we collide we will set the world alight…
No more gravity. & I think I’m falling into you. {hold me close, show me home}
                          I’m falling flying
